WAITING FOR SBY GREAT IDEA

Steping to 2006, Government of president of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) is again tested by a number of problems related to nature. By repeatedly natural disasters continue hiting this country swallow tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousand mankind not to mention woke up good and chattel result of people hard work and infrasturucturs and structures constructed by government. Like shares peep at singer and song compocer of Ebiet G Ade, … possible of nature have tired with to see our mannerism…" So that emerging myth that this government " is refused by nature" what have time to make disgruntledly of President of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Natural disaster Landslide and floods again swallowed hundreds of citizen in Jember - East Java and of Bodjonegoro in Central Java catched up various natural case almost in all remote areas of this country. Unfinished cure people pain effect of act of nature, emerged other case which encumber people effect of human being brand or the effect of a policy of government. Start from Fuel Oil increase of price ( BBM) more than 100 % which inducing at increase 9 staple. Not to mention finishing to finish impact effected by increasing of fuel oil price, governmental and parliament have started to design other problem that is a plan increase of Elementary Tarif of Electrics ( TDL).
President of SBY repeatedly in so many opportunity told that the increase of price of BBM and of TDL expected will not encumber people "… I expect there no increase of BBM and of TDL, but government must take a decision…" President also always submit economic situation of this nation which will go broke, if government not taken step to force increase of price to counter of oil price hike of world market above $. 70 / barrel and time to pay interest and debt of foreign debt. Though, production people’s income do not increase, unemployment mount getting high, living cost leap highly, disconnection of job link ( PHK ) mount happened anywhere, entrepreneurs not enthusiastic to workhard, and new number young workers getting increased. Whereas, which is just felt small people is direct aid [of] cash ( TDL) or of cash the transfer of Rp.300. Model this subsidize just creats pros and conts even have to swallow number of victims etc. Government also gives crossed subsidy of educational billion US dollars in health and education, but still many people scream because they still pay for child school fee and hospital, because it is true both cases cannot await aid. Pity, it is true people in this time, specially downwards faction, they do not know to whom they have to enquire. Returning to song lyric of Ebiet G Ade … possible at grass wiggling ".
Maybe this is the time, we have to desist dreaming or too much talks, but wake up to pursue dropping behind by dint of hard work and learn harder again. Government, specially president His excellency, Mr.Susilo Bambang yudhoyono require to refress pure and big idea of him alone to overcome the problem of nation which becoming complex. Justly mention an example, the means of strategy of eradication of corruption. The presidetial palace has manytimes made announcement of so many officials and former officials were suspected of corruption. Starting from governors, regents, deputy regent govt, mayor, vice mayor, entrepreneur, former entrepreneur, functionary of DPR and of DPRD. It looks too slow and long lasting between time of investigation until the court take a decision proven guilty or not guilty. Even only bearing a number of new problems, number of cases of corruption by new form of operation which involved number of investigators ( attorney, police, and judge) even, including most institute respected namely supreme court and supreme constitution. Maybe, requirig to look and take other alternatif whether to announce those found guilty in the court than those are still suspected. Will this suffer brings happines or other wayround. Only God knows.

BEHIND THE BIRD FLU AND OIL PRICE HIKE

NEWS behind the two big cases in Indonesia recently is the return of bird flu (influenza avian) and government planning to raise the oil price early October 2005. This two Cases has made the people continue to be paniced while surrenderness in facing the nations condition. if am not mistaken, leadership of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Jusuf Kalla(Sby-Jk) have got never ending problem since early in power November 2004. We justly see, storm of tsunami natural disaster which snatched almost 200 thousand lives in Acheh, increase of oil price, increase of prices of basic needs, controversy of peace agreement between government and Free Aceh Movement in Helsinki, Finland, down of ruphias toward US dollars, getting down of share price index in the capital market, world oil price rocket penetrate to 70 US dollar/ barel which was effected by various world disaster. Even,the issue of disharmony of SBY-JK and of cabinet ressuffle to become the trigger of doubt of market embrace that market floating. Nowadays leadership of SBY-JK is again tested with Extraordinary Case of bird flu and the plan hike of oil price. Government also face other problem such as, government promises to subsidize 62 million people who categorise as poor people by 100 thousand ruphias ( $10 dollars/ month) and raise income of civil servant by 30 % next year. Government also has to face paying the interest of state debt which continue to swell to reach 1200 triliun ruphias out of private sector debt while foreign exchange reserve which continue to dwindle till 30 bilion US dollars. Affect from all that occurence, various elements who cares the people remind government that people to account that burden. Most real impact of the oil price hike is following the price hike of prices of 9 basic needs of people whereas amount of unemployment increase sicnificantly and purchasing power remain stable even tends to decrease. That heavy condition,can be understood to panic the current government. The case was shown by government policy which got an endless debating at parliament or opposing of government policies to hike the price. Mostly, those policies that publically thro’ printed and electronic medias always got unsupported by the market. The condition, so, what can we do to help the government to solve those problems ?. while life is going on and on and the need keeps increase. The answer is, people should not be panic but trust the govenrment who has been elected by the people.
There is an indication that government of SBY-JK was tricked by a game played by a certain speculantor or state where they can live only speculation services. The trap can be seen by patron of communication built by SBY-JK starting from political deals during campaign for presidency untill holding a cabinet meeting via long distance video confference Washington- Jakarta where the specualant may use issues behind the meeting for their interest. The United States itself which is called as the father of democracy carefully talks to medias. Presiden George W Bush must be happy with the style of Indonesian leader because it is easily to read where SBY - JK would bring Indonesia. It was different from the style Presiden Megawati did during her in power where Bush said that Mega was not easily guessed. Spreading out of the deadly bird flu and the plan of oil price hike up to about 60 % on October, we can see the cases on different perspectives but those are happened in same time. So, we have to see those cases that can relate to one onother. Many people try to speculate if bird flue is a game of inteligent to steer people’s opinion not to oil price hike. How come ? people might do speculation, but many people have died due to the bird flu, said the government. It is surprised that people seem surrenderness on those cases because there are no other way except facing those problem. The price of chicken beef getting high but people keep on buying. The bird flu case was like mad cow desease happened last year but it was suddently dissapeared. While, talks show in number of medias about the plan of government to raise oil price, some people said government is better raise 100 % price of oil. So, we can see what will be happened ?. Meaning that, people need a brave government serious stances to take a decession, if speculators can play Indonesia economic and politic as a game.

CLAIMED THE QUALITY OF STATESMAN EXECUTE PEACE ACCORD GOV-GAM

Today world witness a historic moment between government of Indonesia and the Aceh Independence Movement or Separatist Movement of Aceh or which recognized with GAM and of GSA. Both the naming of movement organization in Land Ground of Rencong that in fact the movement which more knowledgeable wide as GAM. Anything the name of the armed movement which consistently and persistence conducted guerrilla war to government of Indonesia during more or less 32 years.
End result today 15 August 2005, around at 13.40 Indonesia time or at 10.40 time of Helsinki, Finlandia happened a historic agreement which have never been strived by top kick government in this country previously. Any of agreement content, any of mission at the opposite of that Peace Accord, how its implementation in the field is onother problem, but more important is the intention to make peace in Aceh under the Unitary State of the Republic Of Indonesia ( NKRI). Any and any obtained concession of GAM and all assorted Aceh citizen with consistency value and assiduinity of struggle of problem is a comited. More than anything else history note the Aceh citizen which called Serambi Mekah have very extraordinary share to delivering birth of the Unitary State of Indonesia. One should admit that the struggle of GAM for Aceh have produced fruit result of paid the peace accord with the fall of victim of both sides.
Some small concession in previous struggle of GAM obtain among others : got Special district of Aceh, becoming special autonomy by running islam syariat till have change name to become Nanggro Aceh of Darusalam. We also know that disaster of tsunami which was destroyed Aceh also have special message of lord to Aceh specially and Indonesian nation in general to a change. Governmental and this nation elite require to contemplate, what I call it, first To Aceh awakening for Indonesia to independence and the second is Aceh evocation which marked with agreement of peace accord between government and GAM in Helsinki.
Returned by agreement involving numbers of foreign countries, a question raised : is struggle of GAM really still at NKRI or early start of a new struggle for GAM to form an new self-government ?. Or this is this a new start for a big change of Indonesia to set up new federal state ?. My article in a media in the early consultation of January ago have entitled, SOLUTION of ACEH FOR THE INDONESIA. Its Meaning, this nation require to knit again its NATIONS AND STATE BUILDING.
Equally this nation require to revise system and form of government start from basic constitution, laws, government decrees, and other technical order which arrange journey of this nation from center till regional area which during the time happened overlap here and there. The order of the peace accord contains a lot of change to 1945 constitution, laws, etc. For the sake of nations and state,this meant to be later on day not alleging each other, happened interregional discrimination and jelaousy one with other area or group which is one with other group. Indonesia, early independence have experienced of change of RI become Federal Republic Of Indonesia ( RIS), even a number of state in world also experience of change. Some got united, but the others are also disjointing to become small nations.

GAME FIGHTING FOR UNITED INDONESIA CABINET IN ACEH

Seven points of agreement, taken by Indonesian government and Free Aceh Movement (GAM) in 4th round of informal talks in Helsinki, Finland among others : to let the separatists group of Aceh to make a direct deal business with foreign sides ; to have the right of 12 miles of sea water ; to form a local party and to implement general election. Those items of agreement are still an informal agreement, however, GAM demands self government in the unitary state of Indoneisa and witdraws military from Aceh and seacefire. Even though, GAM realizes that it is impossible for the current Indonesia government to receive the offer since mostly all the components in this country refused the offer, even, Indonesia military so far has given a signal for GAM to surrender without any requierment. Even though, it was just an informal agreement, but there are many protest from some components of the nations including some political elite in parliament saying that there are something wrong on the dialog which will endanger the unitary state of Indonesia. In one hand, it can be understood the scareness of political elites and number of nation components including Indonesia National Army (TNI) because of our experience in East Timor ( now the republic of Timor Leste) and easpecialy saying that the number of times talks with separatists only gave them advantages by coverages of the wolrd medias. The dialog in Helsinki itelf was only to internationalize the conflict and demands foreign attention. So the talks, totally has been against the vision of the unitary state of Indonesia. The critisism of the number of parliament members could also be understood since the lost of East Timor and Sipadan and Ligitan islands were only the matters of options coming from the late president In other hand, the optimism of the current government to end the overall 30 years long conflicts in Aceh in the situation of uncertinties the region due to the current tragedy of tsunami that brougth hunderds of thousands people lives could be also understood and put it in special meaning. Afterall the government has the right to set the conflict ending by whatever result and the consequencies. The oposition party in the parlement has stated from the beginning their contradiction of talking with separatis group of Aceh abroad.
